Students will conduct an experiment of their own design.

Slinky
Stop watch
Meter Stick
Tape
Introduction:
5 min: I will take attendance as the class sets up their lab stations. I will also distribute some lab questions, data tables, and all other materials to be turned in with their lab reports.
Activities & Assignments:
40-45 min: Students will conduct their experiments while I circulate the room and facilitate in any way I can.
Closure:
5-10 min: I will let students know that they should be wrapping up soon, and that I will be after school if anyone needs extra time. I will also let them know that their lab reports will be due in two days, on the day before our unit test.
